Lucy Lawrence was born and raised in Los Angeles.  She went to UCLA for fine art and specialized in drawing and painting.  She loves to involve humor and whimsy in her work and is inspired by Pee Wee’s playhouse, Rocky and Bullwinkle, Shell Silverstein, the Simpsons, and the many skate/surf brands she shopped at when she was a surfer kid.  She started VERYUSUAL when she was sick in bed and trying to make herself laugh by drawing silly cartoons.  Lucy plays bass in Dear Boy and is a model and performer.
